We are seeking an experienced IT Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at BC Pension Corporation. As a key member of our Hybrid Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure with a focus on continuous improvement, high availability, security, and the latest innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure and Oracle OCI technologies.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources, including virtual servers, storage, networking, and identity and access management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, including hands-on technical work and formal supervision and coaching.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to transform traditional on-premise solutions to cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent experience in a related field.
- Three or more years of experience in planning, designing, and managing Azure/OCI cloud infrastructure.
- Five or more years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing traditional infrastructure solutions in a combined Windows and Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience with cloud spending, billing, and optimization.
