You will be responsible for various laboratory functions, including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching, and testing of specimens, performing procedures, and reporting results.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement and handling of specimens
- Processing and dispatching of specimens
- Testing and reporting of results
- Performing procedures
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
- Recent phlebotomy and ECG experience within the last 2 years
- Ability to lift to 10lbs on a frequent basis
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client services and public relations
- Ability to perform repetitive duties efficiently and accurately
- Ability to recognize and assist patients in distress
- Flexibility to meet operational requirements
- Proficiency in data entry
- Previous experience in a mobile collection's environment
- Working knowledge of Connect Care and MCIS
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
