Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Service Delivery to lead our Transportation Operations team at Gate Gourmet. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results, improving service quality, and reducing operating costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to the Transportation Operations team to meet and exceed service quality and reduce operating costs.
  • Financial Management: Accountable for budget and responsible for staffing and labor costs.
  • Operational Excellence: Owns the planning and coordination of routes and schedules to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of catering uplifts and associated products.
  • Team Management: Responsible for employee discipline and corrective actions, as well as recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partners with other unit process owners to ensure conflict resolution and removal of potential system/process roadblocks.
  • Compliance and Safety: Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree educated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Business Management.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years management experience with demonstrable leadership and senior management activities and responsibilities.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and strategic direction skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to drive business results.
