This role focuses on engaging with potential clients nationwide, identifying new opportunities, and fostering connections with organizations that could benefit from Waapihk's unique services.

This is a collaborative role that requires a motivated individual who can manage their time effectively and thrive in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, health and research methodology, or a related field, and experience living in Indigenous communities or direct work with Canadian Indigenous populations.

The Client Relationship Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Scouting for potential client organizations and partnerships across Canada
  • Helping to kickstart conversations between clients and the Principal
  • Collaborating with the Research Team to refine our offerings
  • Assisting in spotting and nurturing long-term business prospects
  • Keeping our CRM pipeline updated and organized

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous self-governance, data governance, and health transformation reform, as well as experience in business-to-business account development or management. Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn qualitative data software are also essential. Bonus points for communication in an Indigenous language.
