Civil Earthworks Construction Leader Opportunity

Drake International is a leading provider of staffing solutions in the industrial fire protection industry, seeking a seasoned Civil Foreman to lead our construction team. This exciting opportunity allows you to join a forward-thinking organization dedicated to excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elevate daily crew activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and General Foreman to determine daily work tasks.
  • Delegate tasks to crew members and ensure work is performed according to approved scope.
  • Resolve design issues, change requests, and equipment problems.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure quality control testing is conducted.
  • Coach and train crew members, providing feedback on performance and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil Earthworks, with at least 3 years in an industrial setting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of construction trades, techniques, and safety practices.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
  • Attention to detail, maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
  • Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Commitment to enforcing corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
