Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description

The Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for leading a crew of up to 15 people on various industrial and commercial civil projects. The successful candidate will ensure that project requirements are met safely, with minimal rework, and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor subordinates to ensure project specifications are followed.
  • Complete daily field documentation, including toolbox meetings, JHA reviews, and equipment inspections.
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Enforce the company's progressive disciplinary policy as required.
  • Report any changes to scope or safety incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications, Training, and Education

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in earthworks, with expertise in roadworks, highways, and subdivisions. They will also possess skills in stormwater management, culvert installation, and drainage improvements. A valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, LSE, First Aid, and Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification is required. Prior experience with Alberta Transportation projects and specifications is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

The Construction Site Supervisor will work outdoors in all weather conditions, spending long periods on their feet. They must be willing to commit to 50+ hours per week at various locations within Alberta. Typical shifts are 7:00am - 6:30pm.
