Civil Earthworks Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Civil Earthworks Project Manager to lead our estimation team in Western Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team.

Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $120,000 CAD.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves managing all stages of developing competitive cost estimates and proposals on various heavy civil and earthworks projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing proposals, bids, drawings, and specs to understand project scope and estimate needs.
- Estimating costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts based on contract details.
- Maintaining an updated list of suppliers and contractors.
- Developing effective bid strategies to ensure project success.
- Communicating with engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Leading meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and adjust project plans accordingly.
- Monitoring third-party work and billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of experience in estimating and managing industrial and heavy civil earthworks projects.
- Able to lead meetings and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial management and technology tools.
- Proficient in databases and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Able to create and edit project documents and presentations.
