Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at IMP Aerospace & Defence. As an expert in avionics and electrical systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance on aircraft mechanical, structural, and electrical systems and components, including servicing, inspection, removal, cleaning, repair, installation, adjustment, testing, and certification.
- Complete aircraft maintenance documentation for the electronic record keeping system (ERKS).
- Ramp duties include pre/post flight inspection and support, marshalling, parking, towing, fueling/defueling, and installation/removal of required mission equipment.
- Fly as necessary in support of maintenance, ferry, and deployed operations.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, including power plant, flight controls, dynamic systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, environmental, basic structures, avionic, and power generation and distribution systems.
- Ability to operate test equipment in support of aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) procedures.
- Graduate of a recognized aircraft maintenance course or apprenticeship program and hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or be qualified as an aircraft aviation technician within the Canadian Armed Forces or equivalent commercial experience.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in helicopter maintenance is required.
