Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
Work Setting:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Supervision:

The Food Service Supervisor will supervise 1 to 2 people.
