Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is presented to the highest standard.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.

Language:

The primary language spoken in our restaurant is English.

Work Schedule:

Our restaurant operates on a 30-40 hour per week schedule, with varying shifts to accommodate customer demand.
