Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to ensure that our customers receive excellent service and high-quality food. You will be working in a restaurant setting with a team of staff who are passionate about providing great customer service.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
