Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DPG FOOD SERVICES INC O/A SUBWAY. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that orders are accurate and timely.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide valuable insights for business growth.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and high-quality food.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30-40 hours per week, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and high-quality food during peak hours.
