Job Summary

JALA ACCOUNTING is seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Paramedical services coverage
  • Vision care benefits
