About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Carquest Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales initiatives and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including automotive repair shops and commercial businesses.
  • Collaborate with our district leaders, general managers, and other stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to inform business decisions and optimize sales performance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, products, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and fleet safety certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certification.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
