Job Summary

Tangerine is Canada's leading direct bank, offering flexible and accessible banking options, innovative products, and award-winning Client service. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Mortgage Product Management and Sales to help us grow our secured lending business and deepen our relationships with Tangerine clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Secured Lending product management and sales team, reporting to the Director, Lending Solutions.
  • Develop and execute the growth strategy for the secured lending business, aligned with the Bank's vision and strategy.
  • Manage key performance and risk indicators for Secured Lending products, including establishing departmental goals, projects, and operational initiatives.
  • Own overall P&L and drive analysis and action to meet financial targets and optimize product performance.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the Bank to deliver effective acquisition, engagement, and risk management plans.
  • Influence the end-to-end client value chain and cross-functional initiatives to continually improve usability and client satisfaction.
  • Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, commerce, or strategy.
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience, including building and leading a sales team and leading people managers.
  • 10+ years of end-to-end mortgage experience across sales, renewals, underwriting, funding, and servicing, as well as across channels (direct and broker).
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage processes, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape (products and policies).
  • Prior experience developing business strategies and roadmaps.
