About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Jinnuojiayin Culture and Development (Canada) Ltd. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Administer Network Infrastructure
    • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
    • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
    • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, and maintain control records to ensure network uptime.
  • Provide Problem-Solving Services
    • Offer technical support to network users, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement Network Security and Monitoring
    • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring secure and reliable access to our network resources.
    • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to identify potential security threats and optimize server performance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with our IT team to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems and applications.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration, with a strong background in networking software, hardware, and security.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
    • Experience with network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists.
    • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and Nagios.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of equipment.
