Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation
    • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal network performance.
    • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Network Maintenance and Support
    • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
    • Perform routine network startup and shutdown, and maintain control records to ensure network stability.
  • Data Management and Security
    • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
    • Implement data encryption and access controls to protect sensitive information.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and designers, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in network administration.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
