About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project & Construction Director to lead our capital projects in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with our company's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage capital projects in North America, ensuring that they are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction personnel.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with our company's values and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
