Job Title: Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

Transgate Global Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently to support production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Maintenance Team: You will lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring timely and effective maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Schedules: You will develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: You will ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Manage Maintenance Budgets: You will manage maintenance budgets, including the procurement of parts and equipment.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections: You will conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and Mentor Staff: You will train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: You will collaborate with other departments to support production needs and company goals.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: A degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems is essential.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively, are required.
  • Other Requirements: Excellent communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, and high-quality standards are essential.
