Job Title: Director, Finance and Operation Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented leader to join our team as Director, Finance and Operation Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a diverse team, providing financial and operational services to the Ministry of Trade and Export Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of financial and operational professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement financial and operational strategies, policies, and procedures to meet the needs of the Ministry.
  • Provide financial and accounting advice and expertise to areas of the Ministry, ensuring compliance with government accounting policies and legislation.
  • Lead the development of the Ministry's budget and manage the development, implementation, analysis, and evaluation of monthly or quarterly forecasts.
  • Lead operational services to the Ministry in areas such as access and privacy, records management, legislation, information technology, ministry procurement, and accommodations.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation with a degree in business administration, accounting, or similar course of study.
  • Experience and knowledge of resource management, budget, and forecast processes.
  • Proven track record in implementing strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Strong ability to ensure employees and clients' needs come first.
  • Experience with developing partnerships with both clients and stakeholders.
