Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Ontario Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Train and supervise food service staff, including sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory
  • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
