Administrative Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at George Dawson Inn. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, motel, and resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Team Communication: Ensure the efficient flow of information within the team, facilitating effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Direct and control daily activities, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including opening and distributing mail, managing contracts, and maintaining digital databases.
  • Communication Strategies: Oversee the development of communication strategies to enhance team performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Data Management: Compile data, statistics, and other information to inform business decisions and improve operations.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee questions and complaints, providing timely and effective support.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Document Preparation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Be available to start on the advertised date.
  • Work Authorization: Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Relocation: Be willing to relocate for this position.
  • Experience: Have previous experience in this field of employment.
Work Environment:
