Job Title: Community Reintegration Specialist
Location: Phoenix Society
Salary Range: $27.92 - $29.60 per hour
At Phoenix Society, we are committed to helping individuals with complex needs reintegrate into their communities. As a Community Reintegration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Reintegration Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to our clients, including client supervision and monitoring, assessing public risk and client needs, and promoting community building with external partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients in adhering to community guidelines and reintegration plans
- Maintain accurate logging and documentation of client progress
- Build therapeutic relationships to support clients' life skills and goals
- Report and document any breaches of conditions or safety concerns
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in Criminology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience working with marginalized populations, substance use services, mental health, and corrections
- Ability to understand offender behavior and assess risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certifications in first aid and CPR
