Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Administrator to provide exceptional support to our executive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our corporate operations.

About Us:

Gay Lea Foods is a proud Canadian-owned dairy food and beverage company with a robust portfolio of 7 established brands, including Gay Lea Butter, Nordica Cottage Cheese, Ivanhoe Cheese, Salerno Cheese, and Hewitt's Dairy. Our wide range of products are sold in Retail, Foodservice, Industrial, Co-pack, and Export markets, developed and produced out of our 13 manufacturing facilities in Ontario and Alberta.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to most members of the Executive team
  • Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items
  • Handle and manage corporate correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, ensuring that communications are routed to the appropriate parties
  • Manage office supplies inventory and replenish as necessary
  • Manage mail room and distribution of packages to appropriate individuals at other locations
  • Organize an on-line filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Update department policies and ensure compliance with them as requested
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Assist with corporate projects, ensuring that timelines are met, resources are allocated effectively, and stakeholders are kept informed of progress
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years' multi-executive administration experience is required
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and office management software
  • Strong communicator, verbal and written
  • Self-starter with the ability to think proactively

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
