We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Editing Associate to join our team at Wolters Kluwer. As a Content Editing Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our tax software applications.

About the Role:

The Content Editing Associate will work closely with our tax experts to verify the accuracy of new specifications implemented in our application following new budgets and changes in laws. You will also be responsible for reviewing the programming code to detect anomalies related to calculations and suggesting changes to improve the application's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tax quality control related to the tax topics assigned to you, in collaboration with members of the development team.
  • Design and update tax test cases in collaboration with tax specialists.
  • Run tax test cases.
  • Review the programming code to detect anomalies related to calculations.
  • Engage with customers after the launch of software to market by conducting research when calculation problems arise.

Requirements:

  • College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in business administration, tax, accounting or finance option or the equivalent.
  • Computer skills and mastery of intermediate Excel functions (macros).
  • Ability to read in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Respect for deadlines, rigor and concern for quality.
  • Autonomy and initiative.
  • Ease of communicating.
  • Availability to work overtime during releases.

Assets:

  • Prior use of tax software for professionals is an asset.
  • Knowledge of development using the Agile method.
  • French-English bilingualism.
