About the Role:

As a Private Wealth Advisor in the Commercial & Private Banking 1859 team, you will act as a preferred financial specialist for wealthy clients, leveraging your exceptional customer service skills, ability to build strong trusting relationships, and in-depth knowledge of financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the wealthy clientele market for the Sherbrooke area through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
  • Increase assets under management by offering tailored wealth management advisory services that meet client needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses and collaborate with clients to create integrated financial strategies.
  • Implement recommendations arising from financial planning and ensure ongoing portfolio monitoring.
  • Maintain frequent client interactions to adapt solutions to evolving needs and preferences.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring speed, accessibility, and competence in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with National Bank's business lines to drive synergies and achieve shared objectives.

You will be part of a dynamic team of around thirty colleagues, reporting to the regional vice-president GP1859. Our team excels in dedication and expertise, with a hybrid work mode that allows you to balance office time, customer meetings, events, and remote work.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or any other relevant combination of experience and training.
  • Completion of the Securities Trading Course and Standards of Conduct Handbook.
  • Possession of a professional title, such as CFA, FICVM, CPA, or Pl.Fin, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in business development with wealthy clients and/or entrepreneurs is essential.
  • Ability to develop long-lasting, trusting relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the economy.
  • Knowledge of taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning.
