Position Overview
The University of Regina's Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies is seeking a highly qualified academic leader to fill a three-year term position in its growing Human Kinetics program with a focus on biomechanics. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, engage in research, and supervise students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach 6 courses per year in undergraduate and graduate programs
- Conduct research and supervise graduate and undergraduate students
- Assist in achieving the Faculty's Strategic Priorities: Student Success, Quality Programs, Academics & Research, and Community Connections
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, or a related discipline with a concentration in biomechanics. They will have demonstrated a passion for teaching and research in biomechanics, clinical biomechanics, and ergonomics. The ability to teach in motor learning, human growth and development, and anatomy is an asset. Professional certifications and applied experiences in the field are valuable.
