Strategic Communications Specialist to Craft and Execute Corporate Messages

We are seeking a seasoned Communications Manager to lead our corporate communications efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies that support our goals and objectives, with a focus on sustainability efforts, community engagement, and social impact programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our corporate responsibility objectives
- Managing internal and external communications related to corporate responsibility, including media relations, reporting on sustainability efforts, community engagement, and social impact programs
- Crafting compelling messaging and content for various communication channels, including press releases, websites, social media, and corporate responsibility reports
- Providing strategic communications counsel and support to senior management, including assistance with drafting announcements, memos, and speaking notes
- Ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels and platforms
- Overseeing the development and production of communication materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with corporate responsibility objectives
- Managing internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, and email communications to keep employees informed and engaged with corporate responsibility initiatives
- Planning and executing employee engagement initiatives related to corporate responsibility, including events, volunteer programs, town halls, and sustainability awareness campaigns
Requirements include:
- 7+ years of experience working in communications
- Experience developing and implementing communications strategies
- Experience with corporate responsibility, social impact, and sustainability efforts
- Experience managing communication channels and tools while maintaining consistency
- Experience with internal communications: employee communications
- Experience with external communications: media relations
- Familiarity with corporate website management, SharePoint, and social media platforms
- Knowledge of corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting practices
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
