Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Canad Inns Corporate Office.

About the Role

This is an administrative role responsible for supporting the communications team in the development and execution of various marketing and communications-related tasks. The focus of this position is maintaining various communication platforms, including social media marketing, website maintenance, and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate regular updates to various digital communications platforms.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread communications-related material from verbal or written information.
  • Create and modify documents using MS Office and Adobe PDF.
  • Develop and maintain contact database systems.
  • Coordinate project-based work.
Requirements:
  • Relevant educational or employment experience.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Mailchimp.
  • Experience with social media marketing, Google Analytics, and/or content marketing.
  • Post-secondary studies in digital media and/or marketing are considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, with emphasis on Word and Excel, is required.
  • Proficiency in English language skills is required; proficiency in French and/or other languages is considered an asset.
Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes RRSP matching contributions, a Group Benefit Program, continued education assistance, and participation in employee engagement events.
