Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Executive Sales Director to join our team and drive business growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives. This leadership role will be instrumental in expanding our client base, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders in the creative production and post-production industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and position us as a leading player in the industry.
  • New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities through partnerships and collaborations with high-impact potential.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including creative agencies, marketing agencies, medium to enterprise-sized brands, production companies, and other industry players.
  • Tailored Pitches and Presentations: Collaborate with our intake producer, executive producer, and creative teams to create customized pitches and presentations that showcase our unique value proposition.
  • Contract Negotiations and Deal Closure: Lead contract negotiations and close deals that align with our business and creative goals.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a small team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on sales performance and partnership outcomes, using data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Industry Trends and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Ajax Creative at industry events, conferences, and meetings, effectively communicating our brand values and service offerings.

About You:

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in inbound and outbound sales and business development, ideally with 5+ years of experience in the advertising industry. Your extensive knowledge of the North American media production and advertising industry landscape will be invaluable in navigating this role. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with a strong leadership ability and history of driving successful business development initiatives.
