Senior Manager of Scientific Research and Development

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) team at MNP. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to identify eligible projects and navigate government incentive programs and funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with client finance departments to review financial statements and identify opportunities for SR&ED tax credits.
- Work with the SR&ED team to prepare claims and gather supporting documentation.
- Assist clients in determining eligible expenditures under the SR&ED Tax Credit program.
- Manage multiple clients and deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Interact with peers, clients, and Canada Revenue Agency representatives as needed.
Requirements
- CPA with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including corporate income tax, financial accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
- Minimum of 4 years of SR&ED experience.
- Focus on achieving high-quality, timely, and profitable results.
- Knowledge of financial service organizations like MNP and their service offerings is an asset.
