Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

Coffee Culture Café and Eatery is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafeteria, coffee shop, and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and repairs, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP education.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:

Coffee Culture Café and Eatery is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be working in a cafeteria, coffee shop, and restaurant setting, interacting with customers and staff daily.

  • Excellent oral communication and team player skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
