About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Youth Engagement and Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and administering youth and workforce development programs in the province, maintaining agreements with employers, sector councils, and community organizations, and promoting youth employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage agreements in LaMPSS for youth programs and initiatives funded by the Skills and Learning Branch
  • Maintain and update new and existing funding agreements
  • Work with Regional Enterprise Networks, labour organizations, sector councils, equity-deserving organizations, and youth-serving organizations to support youth in gaining employment experiences
  • Compile and maintain youth engagement data collected via agreement reports and Youth Engagement and Outreach Coordinator activities undertaken
  • Facilitate youth engagement at career fairs
  • Coordinate social media content
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree and five years of program administration and development experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You will also need strong project and program management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
