Contract Manager for Mental Health and Substance Use Services

Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing contracts for mental health and substance use services in Surrey. The successful candidate will ensure that contracts are effectively managed and perform according to Fraser Health standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate variances in service delivery and funding
  • Collaborate with contract managers and operational leadership to ensure consistency and integration with strategic and operational goals
  • Conduct regular analysis and reporting of contract performance accountability
  • Act as key contact and liaison with HSP finance and contracts department
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline, plus five years' recent related experience with contract management and performance improvement. Experience in LEAN methodology is considered an asset.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, analytical, planning, and evaluation skills, as well as negotiation and facilitation skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and to develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and internal/external contacts.
