Bakery Labourer Job Description

Garden City Kosher Bakery Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team. As a Bakery Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of baked goods, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
  • Provide customer service and ensure a positive experience for our customers
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Feed and unload processing machines and check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability
Work Environment:

The work site environment is hot, and the work setting is a bakery. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
