We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team at Garden City Kosher Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.
Key Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with care and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.
- Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
- Feed and unload processing machines, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Physical demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Work environment: Fast-paced, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail.
- Work hours: 40 hours per week.
