Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Johnson Electric as a Group Finance Controller. As a key leader within the Finance department, you will oversee all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and refine financial strategies in alignment with the company's long-term goals.
  • Lead strategic projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and other initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the development and analysis of financial models to explore future scenarios and guide strategic planning.
  • Ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term objectives, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain control of the company's financial health by managing risks, overseeing internal audits, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Direct the consolidation of financial results, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Promote collaboration across finance teams and with business unit leaders to ensure cohesive financial planning and reporting.
  • Drive the adoption and utilization of business intelligence tools and data analytics practices to enhance financial decision-making and operational insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master's degree or professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a complex financial environment.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
