Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. This is a part-time regular position, working 8 shifts of 11.78 hours per 4 weeks.

About the Position

This role reports directly to the Manager of Nursing and involves the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the emergency department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.

Salary Information

The salary for this position ranges from $38,580 to $50,070 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. With competitive pay and benefits, we offer an attractive compensation package that supports your career growth and well-being.

Job Description

Beneath the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN would be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and analysis of patient care in the crisis division. They should have the ability to work under pressure and handle various circumstances effectively.

In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also contribute to the development of nursing policies and procedures, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
