Job Overview:
The Regal Rexnord Company is seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations to lead the Thomson Power Systems business unit. This full-time permanent position is located at the Thomson Power Systems site in Langley, BC, Canada.

Salary and Benefits:
This role comes with an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, paid time off, holidays, and training and development opportunities.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide strategic vision, execute growth plans, manage annual P&L objectives, drive innovation, and foster talent development. They will oversee the Regal Rexnord Business System, ensuring world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. The Director of Operations will also be responsible for leading a cross-functional global organization by setting objectives, developing plans, executing daily management activities, and implementing corrective action to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of short and long-range objectives, policies, financial and operating plans for the organization.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles while building the best overall team.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through engineering redesign, vendor management, and manufacturing projects.
- Support opportunities to leverage corporate-wide RRX capacity and capabilities.
- Hold responsibility for overall compliance with all environmental and local, state, and federal government regulations.

Talent Management:
- Provide experienced and effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship for the organization.
- Lead talent management system with TPS Leadership team for the business unit, driving organizational effectiveness, proper structure, and employee development aligned with achieving business objectives.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Engineering.
- Track record with delivering above-market growth via the full strategic planning and execution cycle.
- Proven managerial experience, and knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
- Demonstrated ability to affect team transformation using change management principles.
- MBA would be an asset.
- Technical background preferred (e.g., engineering, power generation, emergency power, electrical).
