About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Lloyds Bank plc. As a key member of our finance change professionals and software developers, you will play a crucial role in embedding bank-wide changes within Retail Finance in a controlled and clear manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and understand existing financial forecasting models built in Excel.
  • Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and understand business processes.
  • Document and deconstruct existing models to identify key components and logic.
  • Develop detailed scopes and technical specifications for rebuilding models in Python.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of specifications.
  • Support testing and validation of new models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users on new models and tools.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a financial environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and VBA within a financial modelling context.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Python and Power Query.
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
