We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in evaluating, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting clinical documentation and technology solutions across our health system.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, healthcare information systems, and technology. They will be responsible for collaborating with clinical and business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. This will involve working closely with our IT teams to design and implement new systems and processes, as well as providing training and support to end-users.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related field. They will also have experience with healthcare information systems and terminology, as well as certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and will have a strong understanding of business principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Design and implement new systems and processes
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Work closely with IT teams to design and implement new systems and processes
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology, Business Analysis, or Health Related field
- Experience with healthcare information systems and terminology
- Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management
