We are seeking a Director of Outreach to join our team at First Baptist Church in Lloydminster, Canada. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for connecting with the unchurched community and running a Christian camp program. They will be responsible for developing and overseeing outreach initiatives and the Pleasantview Bible Camp program.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be required to prioritize multiple demands, maintain organization, and recruit, train, and motivate volunteers.

In addition to the above-mentioned skills, we are looking for someone who is trustworthy, respectful, mature, and approachable. The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Representing Christ's Church to the community in an appropriate manner
  • Dealing tactfully with staff members, ministry leaders, volunteers, and the public
  • Sharing personal testimony and explaining the steps to knowing God personally
  • Contribute to the improvement of FBC ministries and operations
  • Developing ministry goals, objectives, and strategies aligned with the Church Mission & Vision
  • Developing annual ministry area budgets
  • Coordinating community outreach/service activities
  • Overseeing Benevolent Ministries
  • Recruiting, training, and overseeing volunteers
  • Planning camping programs and recruiting and hiring staff
