EveryMind is seeking a Director, Clinical Services to lead our mental health programs in the Region of Peel. We're looking for a passionate clinical leader who can build strong partnerships and adapt to evolving community needs. ABOUT EVERYMIND
For nearly 40 years, EveryMind has served the Region of Peel with a commitment to putting mental health first for infants, children, youth, young adults and families. As a not-for-profit organization, EveryMind operates in two key roles: as a Child and Youth Mental Health Core Service Provider and as the designated Lead Agency for the Peel Service Area—one of Ontario's largest and most diverse regions. Since 1985, they have delivered high-quality mental health services, and in the past year alone supported over 5,600 individuals during a time of unprecedented demand for mental health support in the Peel community.
Accredited by Accreditation Canada, EveryMind (formerly Peel Children's Centre/Nexus Youth Services) receives funding from multiple sources, including the Ministry of Health, other provincial ministries, and the Region of Peel. The organization's fund development team also raises additional funds to support their work. EveryMind's professional staff creates a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel safe and heard, furthering the organization's mission: inspiring hope by leading in the delivery of high-quality mental health services.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Director, Clinical Services is a key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the CEO and accountable for clinical operations at EveryMind. Working collaboratively across the organization, leading a team of seven direct reports and overseeing a $2M budget, the Director provides strategic direction and operational guidance to multi-skilled clinical managers who work across organizational systems and sectors to optimize service delivery within the Peel community. This collaborative role involves working closely with the youth and families, colleagues and staff, the Board of Directors, Core Service Delivery partners, and other community stakeholders to achieve EveryMind's mission and vision. The position requires an accomplished leader who can operate strategically while supporting clinical services managers and supervisors to achieve excellence across all service offerings.
ABOUT YOU
As the ideal candidate, you are an outstanding collaborator, communicator and strategic team leader who brings depth in clinical services. With 10+ years of wide-ranging clinical experience and demonstrated knowledge of client-focused programs and services, along with a minimum of 7 years' management experience, you demonstrate adaptability and a strong commitment to service excellence. Your highly collaborative approach extends across all departments with a strong diversity, equity, and inclusion lens. You are known for your professionalism, integrity, and ability to navigate diverse relationships effectively. Your approachability and skill in translating clinical data into actionable knowledge, while appreciating team strengths, are key attributes. With high emotional intelligence and commitment to continuous learning, you successfully integrate evidence-based practices and current research into service delivery. You are adept at setting direction for clinical programming that meets the evolving needs of children, youth and their families. You bring outstanding leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, and possess graduate training in social work, psychotherapy, or other regulated health professional field, with current professional registration. Prior experience leading clinical services in a community-based mental health or child and youth services setting is strongly preferred.
EveryMind operates, where possible and appropriate, within a hybrid work environment. The Director will be required to work both in the office and in the community, as well as attending some of EveryMind’s other clinical locations. The Director will also lead and support teams whose clinical operations extend outside of a 9-5 schedule.
The target hiring salary range for this role is $135,000 to $150,000, with an attractive benefits package. Please review our Total Rewards Package for more information.
