Director of Outreach and Community Engagement

Fully Funded, Full-Time Position Available at First Baptist Church.

We are seeking an experienced Camp Director to join our ministry team. As the Director of Outreach, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing outreach initiatives as well as the Pleasantview Bible Camp program.

  • Lead team building and collaboration efforts
  • Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers
  • Coordinate community outreach and service activities

The ideal candidate will have a passion for connecting with the unchurched community and a heart for running a Christian camp program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual ministry area budgets for both Outreach and Camp
  • Plan camping programs in advance of the summer season
  • Recruit and hire staff to operate the camp program
  • Provide leadership training and development for camp staff

About the Role:

  • A competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
