Linamar Corporation, a Canadian diversified global manufacturing company of highly engineered products, seeks a Health Safety and Environment Manager to join their team. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $80,000-$110,000.

Job Description

The Health Safety and Environment Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing organization policies and procedures in regards to local, provincial, and federal health and safety regulations. This includes ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures by carrying out and analyzing regular audits of laboratories and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct health and safety audits; both compliance and program-based.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports with clear findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on environmental health and safety performance.
  • Act as an environmental health and safety resource to the Groups and facilities.
  • Review current policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary Education in an appropriate Scientific or Engineering field or equivalent.
  • Completion of Certificate designation or actively working towards the designation.
  • Minimum one year previous related experience.
  • Ability to understand WSIB regulations in order to ensure that the company complies with applicable WI legislation.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of environmental health and safety legislation and industry standards.
