Senior Land Surveyor

The Ontario Public Service is seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Surveyor to lead transportation infrastructure projects and provide expert advice on survey-related matters. About the Role
This permanent, full-time position will involve supervising and advising on the production of engineering and legal surveys, maps, plans, reports, and documents required for transportation facility planning, design, and construction. You will direct and certify the production of legal survey plans and documents for property acquisition and disposal, as well as assume, designate, transfer, close, and remove highway status according to provincial and federal legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end aspects of medium and large-scale survey projects
- Provide leadership, expertise, and guidance on survey plans and land surveying regulations
- Direct and certify the production of legal survey plans and documents
- Develop project plans, estimate costs, schedule timelines, research information, and compile survey data
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Class G driver's license or equivalent. The position also requires licensure as an Ontario Land Surveyor by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,933 to $125,796 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
