This includes site servicing, feasibility studies, stormwater management, grading design, technical reporting, and project management for municipal engineering and land development projects.

About the Role
  • This opportunity will involve business development and responding to proposal requests, with a focus on local projects within Kingston and surrounding areas.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in land development and municipal engineering.

Fundraising and Business Growth: You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth of our team's revenue streams.

Skill and Qualification Requirements: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent program is required. A master's degree would be considered an asset. Additionally, 3+ years of experience working as an engineer in land development and municipal engineering are necessary. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of engineering standards, principles, practices, and techniques, including reference guidelines and design manuals used in land development and municipal engineering projects.

Additional Requirements: Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and a general understanding of software design capabilities are essential. The ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, are also required. Project management experience and a willingness to mentor engineering graduates and technologists are considered assets. Comfortable working independently in both an office and field environment, a valid Ontario driver's license is necessary.
