Job Title: Metal Fabricator/Welder

C&A Group is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, equipment, and structures to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld metal components, equipment, and structures to meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
  • Work to close tolerances and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial red seal.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of metals, relevant product codes, regulations, and laws.
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics, including fractions, measuring, and geometry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
