Job Opportunity: Metal Fabricator/Welder

C&A Group is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, equipment, and structures to meet the highest quality standards.

About the Role
  • Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal components using various welding processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Work to close tolerances and maintain a high level of quality in all work produced.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Alberta Welding Certificate or Inter-Provincial red seal.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding, preferably with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Knowledge of metals, relevant product codes, regulations, and laws.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
