Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, including estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, kitchen helpers, and other support staff
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
